SethuOS event → Twilio sends message → User receives WhatsApp For proactive WhatsApp notifications, the charge has two parts: Twilio’s message handling fee plus Meta’s WhatsApp template fee.

Working estimate for normal operational notifications: approximately ₹0.61 per WhatsApp message to an Indian recipient, before taxes, using an illustrative exchange rate of about ₹95 per US dollar.

5. Important Pricing Notes

Twilio is pay-as-you-go; there is no fixed bundle such as “₹X for Y WhatsApp messages” unless your commercial agreement says otherwise.
Exchange rates, taxes, Twilio/Meta rate changes and optional add-ons are not included in the INR estimates. Twilio also lists a small processing fee for messages that terminate in Failed status.
