1. Recurring Tasks
Purpose
Recurring Tasks are for work that repeats on a predictable schedule. Instead of manually creating the same task again and again, the recurrence is configured once and the repeated work can be generated and tracked consistently.
2. Typical Use Cases
- Daily: operations checklist, daily review, routine monitoring.
- Weekly: weekly reporting, team review, customer follow-up, pipeline check.
- Monthly: month-end close, compliance review, invoice review, management reporting.
- Periodic: maintenance, audit checks, renewals, recurring governance activities.
3. How to Work with Recurring Tasks
1
Open the Recurring Tasks tab
Review the recurring activities already configured for this
workspace.
2
Create or update the recurrence where permitted
3
Track the generated work
Once the repeated task instance exists, work on it like a normal
task using the workspace task views.
4
Review the pattern periodically
If the process, owner, or frequency changes, update the recurrence
instead of repeatedly correcting individual tasks.
Difference from a normal task
Use a normal task for one-time work. Use a recurring task when the same activity is expected to repeat and should be created consistently over time.
